“Language Access is Everyone’s Business”

The Administrative Office of the Courts Memorandum, Providing Interpreters for Court-Ordered Programs, Services or Events, clarifies when it is the responsibility of the court to provide language access and when it is the responsibility of the agency/contractor/service provider.

For information about hiring a sign language interpreter, visit the New Mexico Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing or Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, Inc.

For information about translators and spoken language interpreters, visit the New Mexico Translators and Interpreters Association.
